Have been hearing alot of police dispatch on the "Special Events" talkgroups 2001-2031. Heard units identified as Seat Pleasant, University Park, and other locations.

Maybe they are adding new police districts to the P25 system?

Maybe they are testing radios? I believe all those local departments are already on the system with their own TGs.

Probably just the normal Special Events TG usage for the big church part times (I don’t remember what channel they were assigned yesterday).

You know what… my previous reply didn’t look at the time you posted. On Saturday (and Friday I believe) night, it was the Blue Night initiative where a bunch of jurisdictions were doing traffic stops on special events channels. That’s what it was.
