I know this has been brought up before, and debug files were submitted. Unfortunately this system still had a mix of Phase 1/Phase 2 talk groups which made it a little difficult to catch the issue. Recently, this system has converted all talk groups to Phase 2 with the exception of the dispatch which is still "patching" between the legacy UHF-T and Phase 2 system. All mobile units are using the Phase 2 system....yes I know, odd but I didn't do it...lol.

The issue is UID's are not being captured all the time like other digital systems. The UID might be present 4 or 5 replies and then the 6th time it's absent sometimes during the same conversation, or if it switches to another talk group. Most times it will pick it up again on the reply but that always isn't happening.

This afternoon, the airport has gone into snow operations and I decided to run another debug file. This issue might not be front and center with engineering since the release of the SDS series of scanners, but it's problematic on both my SDS 100 and SDS 200 too. Hopefully with these debug files (Yes, I'm learning how to zip them now...:D), maybe this issue can be revisited.

System: https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?siteId=30245

System Hold/ID Search/Priority OFF.

The files are a little large, but was making sure issue was demonstrated a few times. Thank you for looking into it again.

IIRC, UIDs are only sent during the initial channel grant. If the scanner, for some reason, misses the initial grant, it cannot pick up the UID, later.

Would this apply if a conversation is in progress on the same talk group and maybe 4 or 5 times the UID will display correctly, then it will be absent , and on the next key up the UID will return and the sequence will repeat? I tried to capture that on the debug files hoping their is a fix for this.
