Phase 2

Does anyone know if lwin will be swapping to phase 2 anytime soon? I’ve read other discussions that the deadline for phase 2 was removed.

So finally heard back from a state contact, no real plans due to cost to upgrade.

Yea.. I think it will be a while.. half these little departments don’t have money for new batteries. Phase 2, I personally believe will occur in Parishes that have $, ie - St Tammany…

If the parish is using LWIN, i dont see just those towers being upgraded. The state would be the one doing the upgrades, and would be state wide. Only phase 2 systems ive seen are the asecension area system and i believe jeffereson either still has theirs, or use to. Entergy is another.
