Does anyone have anything for frequencies on the new PHI aircraft based in Madison? I haven't come across anything yet and am interested.

They're not "new". They've been in operation for several months. They operate on the SAFE-T radio system, likely on the St V's StatFlight TG, and/or Flight Watch TG.

FWIW, looking back on 30 days of logs in ProScan, I've only seen KY7 & KY11 on Flightwatch. This is off the Dist 52 tower in Indy.

I'm surprised you guys are still hearing them on RF. PHI switched to the IRIS satellite system around 2019-ish (I worked in one of their dispatch centers), and we were told that was the primary method of communication going forward. The only RF we used was for toning out crews. By the way, IRIS is junk and sounds horrible. I know IRIS is used heavily by the comm center in AZ and a few of the central states. They have separate communications centers in Indiana, Kentucky, and a few other states. I worked at the AZ center for a bit, so it could be different elsewhere.

Most agencies have ditched sat comms for P25 systems as they are not only cheaper, but more versatile, and sound better. For a while sat comms were all the rage, but now are much rarer in use. And the ones not going P25 are doing the VoIP, and LTE solutions like FirstNET, SoLinc, etc... Or combinations of them.

Stat- Flight ( PHI ) does use a VHF frequency in Lafayette for tone-outs. Don't know what freq that would be though down there.

All the PHI-St. Vincent's StatFlight/Ground VHF stuff is listed at the state level pages for Indiana. Here in Indy, they use a repeater for the Stat side, and have a base unit for the "business" side of comms if needed. Much like IUH LifeLine, they do a good bit of communication on the business side using IP-LTE tablets. They also do VHF and SAFE-T through the IUH LifeLine Center a lot of the time. The non Stat PHI helos also use LLC a good bit. LifeLine itself dispatches via ERS and VHF, and uses SAFE-T, MESA, ERS, and VHF for communication.
