Sorry but to listen to Phila Police or Fire you will need a digital $canner, such as the uniden 396/996, RadioShack 96/2096 or the GRE 500/600. They all start out at around $500 but the radioShack models do go on sale at stores several times a year for about $400 and lately even less. Sorry to break the bad news to you, there is still plenty to hear in the area with an analog scanner like yours. Welcome aboard!
