A Septa commuter train evacuated but no injuries after engulfed in flames at Crum Lynne station on the Wilmington line on a southbound train out of Philadelphia and Bound for Wilmington Delaware.
Happened approximately 6:00. News reports are sketchy and undependable as it's being reported as an Amtrak train. It is on Amtrak railroad but it is a Septa 1975 GE silver liner 5. As shown in the photo with the SEPTA logo.
Crumlin spelling? station is in Ridley Park and it was Southbound. Several things can cause a fire on this particular train, brakes, which it's obviously not, electrical boxes under the train, which it's obviously not or a catenary fire where are The Pantagraph meets the 11,000 volts.. on this particular train smoking would be picked up very quickly by a Karen who would run and tell the conductor.
I guess we'll find out.![PSX_20250206_194851.jpg PSX_20250206_194851.jpg](http://forums.radioreference.com/data/attachments/153/153171-73475d1192eff82c2039411d4d496905.jpg)
