I wanted to try DMR, I bought a mmdvm board for my rpi3b+
Install went well with setup. The problem is, its not showing up in Brandmeister under selfcare.
The pi-star has all green lights on DMR internet etc.
I tried brandmeister 3102, 3103 and 3104 as well.
I flashed another sdcard same results. Hotspot security passwords are the same
on mmdvm and B meister.
I feel like its simple, any ideas to try

Just taking a stab in the dark, but it might be a firewall issue with your ISP.

I have not had that problem, but when I got my uncle AK2Y set up with a Zumspot, it took us forever to track down the problem to a firewall his ISP had set up on his cable modem. I don't think he ever got past that; he ended up just using a hotspot on his cell phone.

Might want to try that as a backup test, if you're someplace with cell service and have a carrier / phone you can hotspo t with.

It was a router issue, I tried one of my old routers, it showed up at BM no problems.
I'm going to call them, not sure what it might be.
I turned off firewall to test, still the same, no show.
