Does anyone have the frequencies for the Pineville Police? They have talkgroups assigned on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg TRS, but I have never heard anything on them.

Pineville PD is dispatched on 851.4125 with a dpl of D054. They also use 155.58, with a dpl of D054, as an informal talk around.

They do show up on the Charlotte TRS on 25968 (Pineville Ch. 4), and 62785 (Pineville Ch. 3). I also hear them on Mutual Aid talkgroup (02064) talking to Charlotte PD. Charlotte's Adam 1 and Baker 2 units will go to Pineville's talkgroups when calls for service overlap each other's jurisdictions.

BTW, thanks for the reply on Mint Hill.

Just curious, what you meant by "a dpl of D054" ?

Thanks

Digital private line. Every frequency has a PL tone or DPL tone that screens out other agencies that may use the same frequencies in the same state or region. Most of the newer scanners have functions to allow PL settings to keep you from hearing the same interferance.

Not every frequency or agency uses DPL or PLs.

Joey:

Thanks for the comment, but I was not saying that every agency uses PL, only that they are available. That is why I used the word "has" and not "uses."
