Found in the 8th District CPD lot. Bomb & Arson on the scene detonating the bomb. Activity on Zone 6 (460.400). CFD also on the scene. Beat 7404 (Bomb & Arson Explosive Technician II) is in charge.

Smells like the mexican drug cartels to me.
I don't see anyone else being so brazen as to place a bomb in a police parking lot. I've heard that they have been very active in Chicago lately

Actually some woman found the pipebomb, picked it up, and took it to the Police station. The police then called the Bomb and Arson team in.
Good lord,she could have been mincemeat if that thing had gone off,what was she thinking?
