Just received the following from Brian at Pixel: "Pixel has just introduced an international model that breaks down into two pieces for assembly by the user which makes its international shipping cost lower than the Wellbrook because it all fits into a 40 “ x 26” X 3” box. They provide DC power supplies for Europe, Japan and North America with this model."

Did he Specifically state that they will ship this antenna to Canada now, if so I will get in touch with him right away.

Pixel Technologies Magnetic Loop Antenna RF PRO-1A

This is the antenna I was trying to buy and was told by xmfanstore.com it was to big to ship to Canada, your talking about a new Loop antenna by pixel ???. What are the differences from the Pixel Technologies Magnetic Loop Antenna RF PRO-1A is there a picture of this loop and or the specs, or is the only difference that it just breaks down,

Steve, I certainly hope they are shipping to Canada. Either way, please let us know how the conversation went with Pixel. I have both the RF PRO-1A and the Wellbrook ALA1530S+ and they are both outstanding antennas with superb customer service! Please see my amateur review in Eham at the following link and I think it'll answer most of your questions. You'll have to ask Pixel about picture of the international model as I don't have it but they might. http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/9441

Hi Dave they do not have a toll free number I can use to talked to them from Canada, If anyone in the U.S. could give them a call on there free number and get the information on what the difference is between the new and old Pixel Loop, is it just that the new loop can be taken apart and better packaged to be shipped to Canada or are there other differences from the old loop to the new loop, any help would be appreaciated. Pixel Technologies Magnetic Loop Antenna RF PRO-1A

I noticed a comment at the end of the last thread about the RF PRO-1A being the older model. The Pixel RF PRO-1A is the newest model replacing the original RF PRO-1 and is for 100 kHz to 30 mHz. Further, Pixel has a separate AM antenna called the AM-2 which has a similar design but is optimized for the 500 kHz –1700 kHz AM Broadcast Band.

Thanks DShurick for the correction I don't want to confuse people on the models, I can't edit my post the time limit has expired.

So, you've got $400 to spend on an antenna, but not $1 to make a long-distance phone call to Colorado, or a spare 1 minute to write & send them some email?
