I noticed that the Cal Fire DB page shows Placer Command as 152.810, is that a recent change? I know it was 156.240 for many years.

My apologies, I thought I responded. All the info I have was a name and frequency change on the State radio load. I don't have any details as to what and why.

The "official" Firescope ICS-217 still has 2017 info for Placer County and shows XPL command (156.240) while the CAL FIRE load shows PCF command (152.810).

Someone hasn't updated their entries in awhile...

Hello,

Sorry I didn't catch this before the change was submitted, but both entries are correct.

XPL Command (156.240) is the Placer County Local Government command net, owned by the Western Placer Fire Chief's group, and controlled by Placer County Dispatch.

PCF Command (152.810) is the new Placer County Fire/CAL FIRE command net now being built out to act as a response net for the Placer County agencies dispatched by CAL FIRE - Grass Valley.

Two different channels, controlled by two different dispatch centers, covering the same geographical footprint.

Martin, please submit a correction to the DB and have the change you submitted rolled back. The Admin who worked it is from Southern California and was not aware of the situation.

Thanks!!
