HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania National Guard will lead a weapons of mass destruction and emergency response exercise, “Red Rose IV,” starting at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Combined Arms Collective Training Facility at Fort Indiantown Gap, Lebanon County.
Participating in the exercise will be more than 190 Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers and airmen; personnel from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency; a contingent of soldiers from Lithuania; and local, state and federal officials. The exercise will test such areas as initial response, search and rescue, evacuation, crime scene preservation and mass decontamination.
