I've been running PP for a while, never really dug into it. I feed it from my RB and share using code 'zp'. With that being said, I'm not sure if I have it configured properly. I normally only see the aircraft that my RB is seeing and what others are feeding into the PP network. Should I be seeing aircraft that are not painted in RB, but are transmitting Long/Lat data?

Also, if anyone can help me get a map set up for Quebec are the extended region, I'd be eternally grateful.

not quite sure I understand your question.

but you should be seeing aircraft that you are receiving locally AND aircraft others are sending to the network.

if aircraft aren't sending positions you will see them in your list, but not on the map.

does that help?

Ok let me clarify. I see aircraft that my RB see's and also the ones that are being shared into the network.

Yesterday night I was tracking an A124 heading to Germany, they did not appear on the RB but I did notice that my RB was receiving their Long/LAT coordinates as they passed through the sector. Should PP have painted them?

yes.

this was an active location, meaning it wasn't a stale hit?

planeplotter will remove aircraft from the screen after a period of time in settings.
