please help pro - 162

i am at my limit i have tried all kinds of things still can to ge this trunked system to work........................SO IF ANYONE CAN PLZ HELP????? i will give you all the info have please tell me first if this scanner support this system then anything else you can do will be great.. ok here goes.......... it

Location: Various, NY
County: Westchester
System Type: Motorola Type II SmartZone ( does my scanner work on this system??)
System Voice: Analog


in input the the info as follows using the blutel software......

Base Spacing Offset
470.0000 12.5 380 (lower base channel)
476.0000 12.5 520 (upper base channel)


then was enter all the talk goups for fire 10-19 and ems 10-19 all the operations and tac channels and it still does not work i dont know what else to do please help.


maybe someone can make a file for me to inport into my blutel software

The Pro 162 supports Motorola Type II Smartzone. Westchester County NY in the Database list the Control channels as North zone 470.57500 and South zone 476.23750.
Have you tryed to enter the control channel only and check if you recieve anything ?
How far is your location to the system ?
Are you using a stock antenna or external?
What are you entering for talkgroups? The Database shows Fire as 4816 for the control.

entered the same as shown about but only input the north zone control channel of 470.575 and tried it with out talk groups.. still not working... worked great on my old scanner

without talk groups you'd need to be on "search" mode not "scan". I've overlooked something as simple as entering the freqs as FM instead of MOT on my scanner. I don't have a 162, and so I cant be any more help. Keep trying, maybe start over in a different bank, and make sure your entering everything correctly, maybe try by hand(not using the Butel) and see if that works. Good luck.
