MSP and Somerset county are on scene at Hwy 2 and RT 23 in Canaan. Subject was running from and shooting at police. There are several local PD's involved to include Winslow and Waterville. The incident started in that area and ended up in Canaan. Multiple shots were exchanged and several cruisers were disabled. There are multiple crime scenes in different areas. Suspect was reported hit by multiple gunshots and transported by rescue. Condition unknown. Several MSP and Somerset county units hit, no injuries. I did hear something about a Waterville officer possibly injured. Not sure on how or what condition the officer is in. Still active incident. Please keep all the officers involved in your prayers.
