Not last time I was through there. Hickory Sheriff was using DMR (Color Code 15/TG 315002/Slot 1) on 155.715, but encryption seems to be spreading quickly.

At this point there is no agencies encrypted on NXDN j for Polk, Hickory, or dallas.

Very interesting ...hearing Benton County Dispatch ever so often on MOWIN ...but not hearing car's back... have it programmed in on my PRO 106 and it has been coming in for the last 3 weeks or so...I programmed it in some time back ...

This should be in the Benton county forum. However, Benton county also gives dispatch stuff directly to troopers. So considering the troopers don’t yet have access to the new NXDN sites in Benton county it’s not surprising that Benton would simulcast their dispatch to MoSWIN so the troopers can still hear it.[/QUOTE]

I'm not sure why I'm not hearing the cars though..they are waiting for a reply ...and I hear nothing..ok so they are not talking on mowin ok

Most dispatch consoles hafe an option called “group seller”. That allowed the dispatcher to select multiple radios/channels to transmit across allowing them to be heard multiple places. Several consoles also allow for patching. Now if Benton patched one of their LE repeaters to MoSWIN you’d hear the county ajd municipal units. Benton is most likely using the group select option. Or their console may be set off to transmit to all LE channels if they’re dispatching LE.

I'm learning because of you..thanks...yes they are not on there all the time..just once in awhile..I'm scanning Highway patrol...and have them in the bank of freq's because they are listed here just in case they were to join.
