HF propagation was very, very poor today. :(

I tried all the amateur bands, ,.
NADA, ZILCH, KAPUT!:unsure::cry:

10 was dead, 80 was no good, 40 was dying, I think I heard something on 17.
Just mostly noise all around.

When I heard the Weather Forecasters talking about the Siberian Express causing record low temperatures in the USA, I suddenly knew what was causing HF propagation to go ka-blooey!........:eek:

The IONSPHERE IS FROZEN and all the electrons are stuck, frozen solid to the ground where they fell

I am hoping that Global Warming will defrost the Ionoshere in a few days.

The past three nights, there has been a strong electromagnetic field. Static crashes on 40 meters at S7-S8. During the day, I have been having good luck on 40, 20, 17, and 15 meters. Come about 6pm, 80 and 40 meters go to crap, and 20 meters is seemingly quiet where I am.
