Portable Scanner Self power on

Looking for a newer handheld scanner that when loss of power without batteries you don't have to press the power button when power is restored?

IMO the only way to find one is if any of the manufacturers are making them with the power switch controlled through the volume knob. I am not aware of any manufacturer doing that in quite a while.

All of our recent models will work this way. As long as power was on when external power is cut, power will be on when external power is restored.

Nice to know. How long did you leave it unplugged from the electrical outlet?
