The feed for Portland Fire & Rescue went offline during a 4 alarm apartment fire in downtown Portland. Hundreds of people let down. Embarrassing!

I don't think the feed was official. Not sure who the feed provider is.

an official feed is provided by an agency, like PD or FD.
the other feeds are from regular folks.

Maybe the feed provider lived in those apartments.

feeds are obviously subject the internet conductivity, individuals providing this service, etc.

maybe purchase a scanner so you can monitor local services……

It’s a free option for those that don’t have a scanner to monitor.

Obviously, Its up to radio owner to continue or disconnect any anytime. Disappointing not to be able to hear the activity yes, but it’s free…😉
