On Boulder Red 1 and Green they are referencing an apparent airplane crash with likely fatalities, possibly near Lookout & 109th Street.

On Boulder RED-1 they just stated that RED NW has been assigned for this call, although I haven't heard anything on it yet.

Checked local TV website, a plane crash near 4900 block of North 109th. 1 fatality. That is all they gave.

Pilot from Lafayette crash was a 66 year old man from Colorado. Boulder coroners office will release more details tomorrow or Friday.

Sorry for coming on here late, Nate! I did hear the comms on Red NW as well as the other channels and paged the incident on MNN.

We were toned on this for a dive response but canceled once they discovered the code black, so I didn't hear the whole incident. However, I believe Mtn View moved the incident to Weld FG 12 and released Red NW once the Boulder County agencies had been canceled. That may have been why Red NW was so quiet.

Red NW was pretty active for a half hour from about 1 pm until 1:30 pm with Lafayette and Mountain View on that incident and then they said they would switch to "Mountain View H". Lafayette said they didn't have that on their radios and Mtn View said just use the cell phone. Boulder County had been calling on the cell phone too. Not too much interoperability with that group.

Nate, I just noticed your comment about Red NW was at 3:38 pm so they were long since finished using it by then.
