I would say a feed for downtown/Convention Center would be nice..not too worried about the other districts. These 2 would be nice with all the travelers

SNACC System P25 TDMA

Just wondering, how long does the SNACC P25 TDMA system stay on the air? Are these actual digital transmissions or are they feeds from the Open Sky system? I live over here in the Summerlin area and I am using a 436HP and haven't heard a thing on the rig, unless there power outage is like only 5 watts or less. Thanks for the insight.

The control channels are 859.4625 (Site 001-022 which Unitrunker says is P25 Phase I and sometimes Phase II, oddly) and 859.9375 (Site 001-021 which Unitrunker says is P25 Phase II) for that activity, and today it doesn't seem active at all, been monitoring for the past hour or so, and by monitoring I mean just using SDR# to tune and Unitrunker to decode the control channel as I don't have a P25 Phase II scanner.

Doh... just noted two "bursts" of activity on the 65536 TGID at 3:56PM. The TGIDs I've noted so far are:

527 (which we've identified apparently as the LVMPD Convention Center area dispatch)
531
533
1217
1219
2033
2203
2293
65536

as well as 21 distinct RIDs so far. As far as actual voice calls, they always seem to occur on 856.7625 (LCN 00-0921) but that's probably because there isn't enough activity to force the system to hop to another trunk. That's the only channel where I did actually hear voice calls last week when I hooked up both of my RTL sticks, typically I don't since there's so little P25 content to bother with here but obviously that's changing after all these years. I haven't noted any activity on that 001-021 site at all so far.

The feeds seems to be up for a day or two then down for a day or two. TGID 527 started as Convention Center Area Command. The feed went down for several days then returned as Bolden Area Command for several days.

TGID 2293 NLVPD was only up for one day.

All feeds are down at this time.

Was out in Vegas last weekend. Witnessed part of the police chase through Hooters, or might have been the Tropicana parking lot. Pretty much sucked not being able to listen to it. But when it ended at Sahara Ave I was able to listen to Bolden area command which is still TG527. Audio was suprisingly better than I thought it was going to be. The air unit did say they were having trouble getting patched in. Pretty wild night for sure.

TG 65536 is the CW ID. PRO96COM identifies this but I don't recall if Unitrunker does or not.

PRO96COM also identifies two other SNACC P25 sites which don't seem legitimate. 001-020 and 001-019 have control channels that mirror 001-022 and 001-021 respectively.

I ran a Trunking Discovery session on the SNACC Type II system over the past 24 hours - there are tons of talkgroups not identified. I'm doing the same on SNACC P25 tonight.

New LVMPD P25 Audio on Sunrise Mtn Tower

Just found some new TGID's on the new LVMPD 700Mhz P25 system.
Audio is TDMA Phase 2
10001 - Enterprise Area Disp (SW)
10002 - NW Area Disp
10003 - Downtown Area Disp
10004 - Bolden Area Disp
10005 - NE Area Disp
10006 - SE Area Disp

Only tower that appears to be active that I have heard is Sunrise Mtn. Can anyone else confirm this traffic in other parts of the valley and other active towers? I am hearing it from Henderson/GV area. Also, anybody have any info on SouthCentral Area command? That is the only one I haven't heard yet?? 10007 perhaps???? Also, Convention Center Disp is still very active on SNACC P25 TGID: 527

LVMPD

Early this afternoon I heard traffic for the Northeast. I can't tell you what tower as I loaded all the frequencies in my PSR 500 just to see if I might hear something. The audio was very clear and was not patched in. I about fell off my chair. It was in the middle of a Code Red situation. I know the system will be P25 Phase ll, but it was nice while it lasted.

Active LVMPD P25 700Mhz Audio Sunrise Mtn site

Are the 700Mhz P25 TGID's still active? Im getting hits on the TGID's but no audio.

Yes, still very active on 700Mhz P25 system. All traffic so far seems to be on Sunrise Mtn Site. Haven't heard any traffic on other towers listed yet. I have my 436HP programmed up with the Sunrise site and all listed TGID's. I have heard traffic on all TGID's posted here on RR. 10002 - Northwest Area Command dispatch seems to be the most active. Also, heard Northeast Area Command Disp last night. Lots of Code Red's...
