Does anyone else have this problem?

Occasionally when im listening to an ID on a talkgroup, it seems like it will stop receiving. I'll just stop hearing any conversations. Wondering whats going on, i'll hit the scan button, and not a millisecond later it has parked on the same ID i was just on, and people are in the middle of a conversation! Whats going on? Any ideas?

edit: I also have another question: What happens when i turn on the 'battery save'? What is the drawback to turning it on?

I don't think that this is in the owners manual but when the system CC changes or if your scanner no longer detects the CC, your ID hold is no longer valid (even if reacquired) until you reselect ID hold.

I'm not aware that you can turn it on or off. I think it works only in manual mode on non-trunked freqs during periods without comms.
