It is not an HP. Its homebrew Athlon XP 2100. 1gig DDR333 on an Asus
A7V333 mobo. Two WD hard drives running raid stripe. I put it together a few years ago and it runs so good I can't part with it. The monitor is a NEC MultiSync E700 that I have had for at least 10 years. Vidio card is an ATI Radon All in Wonder with TV. The system does everything I need to do. Built my girlfriend a Pentium 3.0gig with dual channel DDR and it does not do any better than this one does.

Yep, guess your right, but for some reason I am not getting the picture of UncleGut's monitor. Status line goes to done before it ever downloads.
Mine is just a screen capture of the monitor with the four scanners running.

that's a nice clean setup ^ I like :)

let's see...well, my shack isn't the most comfortable setup in the world but it's the best I could do with the limited space I have *shrugs*

Bunch or radios in my make-shift programming shop. Old 25 MHz programming computer. Programming laptop didn't make it into this one. As I said before, "I have a problem."

Well here's the portable version of my shack. I was just working the MS150 bike ride in Texas. 4 radio nets about 100 vehicles and 13,000 riders. Keeping everything straight takes a bit out of you. Never a dull moment.

My shack...for now.

Hi Folks,
Living in a town house presents some challenges for us monitors who insist on hearing for a 100mi radius. No antenna towers allowed in this community!
If only the landlord knew that his attic now has a floor and an antenna farm for 2 years! ;)
I live in Wilmington Delaware at almost the highest point in the state. Great monitoring location except for the 40 or so FCC licenses within 2000' of me!
This makes many of the YAGI's necessary to steer around the problems.
I should also own stock in PAR!

I have solved this problem recently with the purchase of a house so stand by for new pix in late summer...only lost 60' in elevation to boot!
