Post moderation...

I tried to find an answer but wasn't able to. I see that new members get there post moderated before they actually post. However I have been here since 2003, granted I only have 300 posts, is that why my posts are needing moterator approval?

Not that I know of. It seems to only happen in certain forum areas. The post above didn't need approval and I have had some other that didn't but some that do. Shrugs, I don't know.

Not going into details as to why, but any member that hadn’t posted within the last year was put on moderation. Once you post again and we see that’s it’s not spam the moderation is removed. Unfortunately this is a manual process so it takes a while.

As you noticed you are no longer moderated.

Thank you for the quick reply. I was mainly curious and assumed the time frame could be why but wasn't sure why it was in some areas but not others. I get worrying about hacked account, etc. I am in and out of researching so sometimes I may go awhile without posting.

That's actually a really good idea.
Was it to prevent accounts being sold to spammers to try and circumvent the min post limit?
