Posting photos without the box

I have no trouble inserting photographs in my posts. These photos have a box around them with the name of the file, the file size, and the number of times viewed.

But I notice that some people have photos in their posts that have no such box, it's just the photo itself. How do you do this? If you use the "Add an Attachment" function, you get the box.

Those pictures are linked to another site using the IMG tags. I use photobuck to host my pictures and then just link to them.

Thought I would add something for consideration. All users have an upload limit. In other words if you put lots of pictures and files on the site, you will eventually use up your upload limit and you will have to search out your old stuff and delete it to put new stuff up. Linking (as described above) does not count as uploaded data, nor do ordinary posts or DB submission, just attached files.
