POTUS Christmas Holiday In FLA

Lots of chances to catch new CAP freqs and maybe even some USSS in the clear. Hope anyone listening will post your finds.

On Friday, December 21, the President is scheduled to travel to Palm Beach, FL, for his Christmas holiday. He is scheduled to return to Washington, D.C. on Sunday, January 6, 2019.

New scanner owner here and a very avid reader. I looked at the USSS wiki article, is putting in the "standard channels" sufficient? Any other recommended frequencies? I saw an earlier thread where it looked like the standard channels are P25 mixed encryption, if I read right. I also monitor the NIFOG interop and of course our local LE interop channels. I also run RTL1090 and virtual radar, maybe I'll see something on that, as I work from home this Friday.

Might I suggest using dump1090 as it supersedes RTL1090. Info here:

Thank you, I'll install it tonight. I saw it before but I thought it only ran on the Pi for some reason. I see the win install directions at that link, should be no problem.

Have you looked at this list? Just be aware 99.9% of USSS traffic is now encrypted, but since it is Christmas time miracles might happen.
