I think the SWATH 99 like all these CAP's is the backup Alert tanker and the 01,02,03 tails will

Anyone ever catch USCG Dolphin helo and on what freq? Last night over Somerset saw helo low about 6000 and fighter up about 10000 working together. I have heard much CAP activity but not yet caught USCG.

The CG helo was on 260.9 earlier when they forced a small plane to land for violating the TFR. Callsign is BOUNCER.

Is there a radar app where you can see the tankers circling? I was listening from Hudson County last weekend and will probably do a bit of the same this weekend. Quite a bit of chatter from Noble 11 and Noble 12 calling out landmarks such as Empire State Building, Penn Station, trying to identify Staten Island, etc. on Saturday, mostly on 267.6.

There's an app called openadsb (which gets it's info from adsbexchange.com) that lets you track military/interesting aircraft (and all aircraft for that matter, military and interesting aircraft is a filter) believe it's $5 on the app store

Wasn't in room at time but prob ZDC SIE 281.450 or ZDC Salisbury 257.700 which sometimes
comes in good here.

Earlier had NOBLE 11 ZDC Sea Isle mention direct JFK but I think they
just use that as a traffic route like CAMRN 4 arrival to JFK via SIE to get up that way then cancel their IFR up there
and then req clearance to their CAP/Tanker area assignment.
