I am suggesting an enhancement to the GPS feature.
My HP only adds systems that are in front of me along my line of travel after I reach the appropriate geographical area. It is capable of receiving those systems from much farther away.
I suggest a user-selectable predictive programming option, where the scanner would assume the user's intent to continue traveling in the same general direction and load upcoming areas in sooner. There would be times when this behavior would be undesirable because of course changes and other factors, hence the "user-selectable" part.
