Air Force One landed at San Francisco International shortly before 1pm PST. I picked them up coming from LAX on 134.55 Oakland Center > 133.95 Norcal > 135.65 Norcal > 120.5 SFO Tower > 121.8 SFO Ground. Below is a screenshot from WebTrak of Air Force 1 on final approach for runway 28 right. The other aircraft in the screenshot which is squawking 4422 appears to be a helicopter involved with enforcing the TFR (4422 is a squawk code reserved for federal law enforcement aircraft).

Also, while AF1 was en route to SFO, I heard Phat 1 and 2 (144th Fighter Wing, California Air National Guard) landing at Fresno on 353.8 Oakland Center > 323.25 Fresno Approach > 252.1 Fresno Tower. They were in contact with Bigfoot (NORAD controller) on 271.000. It sounded like they were returning from a combat air patrol mission in Southern California. Air to air on 225.300.

252.1 Fresno Tower is actually 251.1 (clearly a typo, but in case someone stumbles in that doesn't know)

I did not know about 4422, thanks for that.

Thanks for the correction.

This article has a good list of squawk code references:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transponder_(aeronautics)#Code_assignments

what format is the helo sending..is it ACARS/ADSB...FLARM

Been trying to get my ADSBScope and RTL1090 to pick up helo
activity.
No luck though

I'm not sure what the format is for the helo is, but I got its squawk code from WebTrak. WebTrak allows you to see more than just aircraft with ADS-B, it allows you to see any aircraft with a transponder, including military and federal aircraft. The only downsides are that it is only in limited locations and most of them have a 10 to 30 minute delay.

Departed this morning for Palm Springs: 120.5 SFO Tower > 120.9 Norcal > 134.55 Oakland Center > 126.52 Los Angeles Center > 119.95 Los Angeles Center. Out of range after that. I heard them land at Palm Springs on LiveATC though.

Caught them again on WebTrak.
