It's north of Okmulgee, I think about 5 miles, between Preston's little convenience store and hwy 16, where 75 curves around and goes over that big hill. I think the tower's on the east side of the highway.

Wow, I didn't realize there were houses that close. Think they get much of a light show during thunderstorms?

I drive past those every time i go home to Bartlesville From college in Okmulgee. if there is a mist, dust, or low hanging clouds, when the aircraft becons on those things flash, if your not paying attention you will think that there is lightning off in the distance.

I was driving back from Bartlesville one night and the forcast had predicted some thinderstorms that night. so i was driving along and i got to that area and out of the corner of my eye i seen a flash. so i was like 'crap. its going to rain on me'. i had several things in the back of my truck that would have been ruined if they got wet. needless to say when i seen the same flash repeating in a set pattern, i relized that it was those towers and i was releived.
