In Ford county there isn't much good action going on until last night. A guy was in his house walking back and forth with a shotgun while the cops were outside waiting for the man to come out. THis seemed to go on forever. One cop asked the other cop if there was a scanner in the house and he said a lady told him there was a scanner but it was not hooked up. So the cops decided to go to a private channel. And of course, that was the end of my listening pleasure. What scanner will pick up private channels and does anyone know what the private channels are for Ford county police?

Well, it could be pretty much anything.

Could be a MURS channel (154.6, etc) or an old/expired frequency. Or another channel in the county - or just simply an unlicensed frequency they chose out of the air.

Checking through some old frequencies, try this one:

155.745 (Old ESDA freq? KNFE726)

Can't find much else, but you just never know.

An area PD around here uses a frequency that's not even "real" as their tac or mobile extenders. (155.57)

Like Terry said, it could be almost any freq. Attached is the CARMA profile for Ford County, please let us know if you find any errors or updates for it.

Enjoy!
