private mesages

I have sent and received private mesages. There is a drop down window which shows the sount of each. It is accurate on recieved count but stil shows 0 on sent side. Any idea on why this would be?

Are there actually any messages in your Sent Items folder? You have to make sure the "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" option is checked in your control panel options, otherwise the system will not save your outgoing messages.

There is also an option when sending private messages to save a copy in sent items folder, make sure that is checked when sending.

Thanks for the reply. I went to the control panel as suggested by the post above yours and it all works well now. I belong to other forums using the same system as this one and the default was already set up that way and coudn't figure out why it wasn't doing it here.
