PRO 106 Noise?

When scanning Motorola 800 Mhz Smartzone II systems here in South Carolina, when the Pro 106 stops on a transmission I hear a background noise, sought of sounds like the control channel in the background, none of my other scanners have this background noise, anyone have this happen to them?

I am using the GRE Programming Cable and Win500 Software, I have reset everything this morning and am going to reprogram everything from scratch to see if that helps if not I guess I need to exchange this radio.

I exchanged the radio and it is still doing the same thing, also I picked up a PRO-197 and it suffers the same problem, but I discovered it seems to only happen around my house, I am running a 5GHZ Wireless N Network, I am thinking that is what is causing it, however my PRO-2096 and my PRO-97 do not suffer from this noise, so it is only something specific to these radios and some sought of interference at my home, I am going to do some testing and shutting things down until I find the culprit, I just didn't have time to do that today.

could most likely be the router for sure. I run all my radios close to my PC but router is in the other oom, Have no problems

Ok it is not my router, in fact it is not coming from my home, I turned off all circuit breakers and removed batteries from all devices and still have the problem, I noticed though it is stronger in the back my house, so I walked around the neighborhood in that general direction and it gets real strong just over a block away, I believe the problem in emanating from one of the four houses that the signal is strongest at, I will go back tomorrow and try to narrow down an exact house, the noise is 24/7 and sounds like a pulsing data noise.

I have found I can attenuate out about 80% of it,, but that causes other problems, but I have no choice because with out using it the scanner is really unusable,the noise is that bad.
