Hello, folks. Pausing on a trunk group to listen, I notice that there will be a very brief skip in the audio in a transmission; the frequency display also goes away momentarily. This occurs every five or ten seconds with regularity. I think its a setting. Anyone with an idea ? Thanks.

Check your settings - it sounds like you have the priority channel function turned on.

Priority Scanning
To Turn Priority Scanning On press FUNC then PRI while scanning. All objects with their priority mode set to 'On' are given equal priority status. No object has higher priority over any another.
