PRO-197 Fort Smith Area Help.

Slowly figuring my Pro-197 out and had it working great and would like someone to look at my p500 file to see what I messed up...or if someone has a file that I could compare would be great too.

I was receiving AWIN for Sebastian, Scott, Franklin, Logan, and Crawford counties very well...and then I uploaded some conventional frequencies and I must have changed something, without realizing it, that affected the AWIN System. My wireless mouse was going crazy, highlighting things, etc. I still hear Troop H and sometimes Scott county, but nothing else.

I looked at your file but didn't see anything out of the ordinary other than having BOOST turned on on all of your tsys. I would also name each of your scan lists and then disable all and then enable one at a time and see from there where your problem lies. Hope this helps.

Ps. You are scanning so many frequencies that if someone is talking on one and the one you really want to hear is on another you will never be able to hear them. That is a problem when you have so much enabled. Just a thought.

Thanks for checking my file. I turned on boost as someone in another forum recommended doing so. I do have a lot of frequencies enabled, but I don't miss too much (I think) as I have my Home Patrol scanning also.

I've changed some settings as recommended in the 'Easier to Read' manual and will see if they help.
