Pro 2036

[Regatta]

Someone is offering to sell me a Pro 2036.
I was wondering is this model any good?
What do you think I should pay for such an old radio?
I have no idea what it could be worth.

Well, it is a nice scanner, but only has double conversion I believe. You will get some intermod from strong local signals (at least I did with mine). It is the same as the Bearcat BC890, and you can get an optional CTCSS board to install. However, it only does CTCSS decode/encode, not DCS. Anyway, personally I would pay $60 for the radio alone with antenna and power cord, and $75 if it has the board installed.
