Pro 2044 Display Light

Hi,
I am new to the forum but have been around scanning for many years. I LOVE it!! My question is, does anyone know how to replace the display light in the radio shack pro 2044? I have replaced other lights that use the backlight however I am told this model just uses a bulb. I can't find any info on the web and I want to know what I am looking for before I open her up! Any help would be appreciated. If I am not mistaken, this model is made by Uniden and not GRE. You can reply to tturner@chilitech.net.

Before Radio Shack changed their web site you could look up the parts list for most of the scanners. Now I think you have to contact Radio Shack service direct even if it is a uniden OEM.
