I have some pictures of the scanner did this. It scans good just one day it will do this on its own. One time it did backwards or upside down I can not find the pictures. It also did this hides the text another thing it does also hides the freq's also strange have no idea how this happens. I like to hide the freq's when scanning. I hope I can find out one day. If you have any info or have anything like that let me know. I may take it to the shop to check out again. Thanks for reading this...

Regardless of what's causing it or whether or not anyone else has experienced it, it looks like you will have to send it back for repairs; it doesn't seem like that problem is something that can be self repaired.

I send it off 3 times. It doesn't do backwards anymore just hides the Freq or text. I have no idea what is going on. I had the scanner since it first came out. My pro 92 does not do that at all.

it did this 2 years ago. I didn't have nextel back than. I only had the nextel for a year. I send it off 3 times and they couldn't figure it out. It wouldn't scan right it would not pick up in closed mode only 1 channel came in. They fixed that after the 4th time. I turn it off and back on it works normal for awhile than it acts up again. It hasn't done anything lately.
