Pro 2096 Programming

I just had my pro 2096 repaired by Radio shack. I am trying to reprogram the scanner using Win96.
I programmed 3 banks & tryed to scan them. When trying to scan I get a messagesaying all channels
locked out. I have the latest firmware version & have the later extended tables for the motorola 3600
control channel. I cant seem to get the channels unlocked. I would appreciate it if someone could
shed some light on this subject.

TRY enabling the banks the frequencies are programmed in.

The problem I have is that I can't enable the locked out channels.

Pressing 1 or 2 or whatever number for your channels you have programmed in from the keypad won't work?

In the manual mode, step through the channels that should have frequencies in them, Are they programed? If not, reload. If they are programed, press SCAN, are the bank numbers where the frequencies programed displayed on the scanner? If not press the number(s) on the keypad for the banks you want to scan.

Pro-2096 problem

The all channels locked out may mean that all programming has been erased or that the scan banks where
there is programming located have been locked out. Push the manual button to see if you have frequencies
programmed in banks you had programmed. If you find you still have your programmed frequencies then push
the scan button. If you still get the message "All Channels locked out" then push the zero button to enable the zero bank and then push the 1 or 2 button if you also have programmed frequencies in those banks.

I found my problem. I was programming talkgroups without programming any control groups into the
banks. Thanks to everyone for responding to my question.
