Iam using R.S. 2096 and butel software ARC96. i have inputed freq manually and also by inputing them by software. i have done this twice. both times all 9 banks will show on scanner as to be scanned but one bank will hang up. like now its bank 2. if i hit the 2 on scanner and remove it from banks to be scanned scanner takes off correctly. i go back to software although i have not changed or done anything to settings for banks all look the same. if you are familiar with this and you can tell me how ill send the file and you can verify it. thanks andrew stoots loyall ky. Your Pro-2096 Problem

If you are still having the trouble, send me the file by PM and I will take a crack at it. You should not be having problems like this.

I have had the same prob too, where mine will just stop on bank 2 thats it, I THINK what the prob was is either 1 or 2 things 1. 2 of the same freq's or a P25 single freq with a NAC code, i had some of those in the bank, once i removed those it was fine and scanned no problems, but like i say i don't know if it was that or what, but that fixed my problem, basically did a process of elimination, but i use the same software.I know this is very bland but give that a try

I don't know who you are talking too but... just start an e-mail to someone and then look for "send ATTACHMENT" Or "Attach FIle..." You will then be prompted to "BROWSE" to find the file you want to send.
Click on it and send the e-mail. You should say in the e-mail what it is all about. If people get e-mails with attachments and are not expecting them, they usually just delete without opening.

NAC code is the " digital" version of ctcss/dcs... The pro 2096 cannot pick this up, figured it'd be worth trying, or possibly check and make sure the ATT is not on or quite possibly maybe a freq, is overloading the front end ( too strong of a signal)...Like i say mine did the same thing, but once i removed certain freq's i was fine

WELL i think after 3 days i got it to work. i took everything out of bank 2 and manually by hand put the same exact frequencies back in. then let the software read it and bang it works now. thanks andrew stoots loyall ky KJ4Kcm
