I have a pro-528 scanner, and it worked fine for 3 months then it quit scanning. I was using nickel metal hydride batteries. Radioshack repaired it under warranty(bad mother board). I put 4 Energizer Advanced Lithium AA batteries in it and it worked perfectly. It quit scanning several days latter. Now radioshack claims that it is my fault and the damage was caused by lithium batteries. I along with the energizer technicians do not believe this. How can lithium batteries damage electronics? This can not be a valid reason because it is doing the same thing as before with NmH batteries.
Thank You
