PRO-57 help

I have an old PRO-57 10 channel desktop scanner that has worked well for years. the radio now will not stay programed over about 3 houres, it has no backup battery that I can find. I use this radio for my 3 local freq`s and it frees up other units. can someone help with this problem? Thanks MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

From the RS site, there is no battery backup. If you're only turning it off and not unplugging the unit, then it must be a capacitor or something in the memory circuit.
Google radio shack pro57.
The memory backup circuit becomes functional after a few minutes. In the
event of power failure, or if the power cord is disconnected, the circuit
holds memory for approximately one hour.

THanks for the reply, this unit stays on 24/7. Does anyone know who can fix it?
