This maybe a dumb question, but I'm in Ohio and wanted to add a single Marcs frequency for a local sheriffs department that just went to Marcs. I don't have an Internet connection so I'm unable to log online and upload from the database. Is there a way to add the frequency manually? I'm looking to add Guernsey county SO.

thanks in advance!

I also believe I have the 3 site towers already programmed, due to the fact I'm listening to OSP, and the SO-30 channel that only has traffic is small town/village PD

It sounds like you're asking how to program your Pro-652 from the keypad.

If so, the Easier to Read Pro-651/652/106/197 - WS1040/1065 - PSR 500/600 Digital Scanner Manual might help.

The general ideas that you will want to research/learn are:
1. Programming conventional frequencies (if you have any to enter)

2. Programming Trunked Radio Systems (TSYS) (if you want to create a new one or to add a new tower-site's frequencies)
3. Programming Talkgroups (TG) and assigning them to a specific TSYS.
4. Assigning an object (whether conventional or talkgroup) to a ScanList.

If you already have the TSYS programmed in the scanner, then you likely will only need to create a new Talkgroup (TG), assign it to that TSYS, and assign it to a ScanList that you prefer.

As you go along, ask as specific questions here (as specific as possible), and many people here will be able to help you get over any hurdles you might bump into.

Hope this helps,

If you don't have an Internet connection, how can you post a question here?

Page 55 and on, in the manual, tells how to program it.

Thanks for trying to be cocky, rather you just not post, but to answer your question I do own a smartphone and am able to post with it.

Thanks to everyone else for your help. I was able to successfully program the scanner manually.
