This is a great update to the Pro-18 picked it up this morning at 09:30 put in batteries pulled the Tn State System out of the Lib and the 2 counties I was working in today worked great on the Tn State System THP TEMA works great. I like the display color (a softer light blue) a lot better than my Pro-18

The quick programming by zipcode and by entering State and City short cut still needs a lot of work entered things that were not in the area. It works better by going into the Lib like on the Pro-18 and manually picking state town agency ect. Been running 1/2 vol on a brand new set of Duracell 2450 rechargeable batteries for 8 hours still showing 3/4 charge.

Keep us updated on how it does. As far as sensitivity , is it an improvement over the Pro18? Mike

That is good to know! Sounds like a good purchase. Considering one myself ( or the Whistler version). One more question, what are you using for antenna? I think you may have been the first one to get the 668. Mike

The only Phase 2 system I have is a 45 min drive and it worked great as far as phase 1 have it sharing and antenna with a Pro-18, a Pro-197, and a PSR-410 and the Pro-668 is working great. I have 3 Phase 2 sites coming on line this year so I will more to work with later this year.

As per PRO-668 User Manual Page 26
To install your iScan Software:
1.Connect the iScan to your PC using the supplied USB
cable. An installation wizard should appear, or you can
navigate to the microSD card and open setup.exe.
2.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation.
3.When the software is installed, open the software
and use the tabs to modify your settings and upload
to your iScan. Refer to the online help for current
information.

Anyone running the software on windows 8.1? If so what's the trick?

I have 8.1 and couldn't get the iscan software to recognize the scanner - went into the device manager and found the drivers were not installed - attempted to update driver by going to the iscan folder and got windows error that driver was not signed - did a disable signed driver enforcement reboot - repeated process and up and flying with no problems - also FYI i bought a 32 GB Micro SD card and tried formatting it in my laptop but had problems getting it to work in scanner - then read the manual some more (DUH !) and noticed it said you could format a new card in computer (which is much faster believe me) but to make sure you use the iscan software to do it - put card back into my laptop - reformatted (make sure you do full format not a quick format) with the iscan software instead of windows and lo a behold it worked beautifully - now trying to learn my way around the iscan software.

Also I have a Home Patrol 1 and am using the USB cable from it as it is quite a bit longer than the one that comes with the scanner - also for some reason the scanner had a 4 GB card in it instead of the advertised 2 GB - go figure!
