I had my Pro-95's Priority feature activated on the Wx channel. When a transmission would end, the scanner would get hung up on the control channel of my EDACS system. It would still scan and put through the other transmissions when they were found while it was making the control channel noises. I changed the Priority channel to another frequency and still had the same problem.

Does anyone else have this problem, know why it does that, and what I might be able to do so that it doesn't do that.

Any help and/or information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The noise happens only when you are scanning an EDACS system and have the priority channel set to ON. When you scan Motorola or conventional, the noise with the priority channel doesn't happen. I have both types of systems in the area that I live, and have found this to be true, as well as a few other people also. This problem is common for both the pro93 and pro95.

Good Luck!

My 95 works the same as yours Tony, in fact when PriWX is on, I turn the EDACS bank off.

Sometimes, when i am turning certain banks off, and others on, i get the control channel noise, and the only way to get it to stop, is to either turn the scanner off, or press manual, then scan. man, that noise is really annoying, lol.

It is yet another bug inside the scanner that RS never addressed.
