Just some guy, ya know?
Can someone with a Pro-95 in a VHF Trunk zone check this out for me...
I programmed 2 vhf trunking frequencies into my pro-95 using Don Starr's Win95.
Now, as most know, the 95 is a dual trunking scanner. 800 and UHF only from the keypad. It won't allow you to designate VHF freq's as Motorola type channels.
I used Win95 to set the frequencies and bank to Motorola and programmed the UHF-Lo Offset using the 141.015, 380, 15.0 settings, seeing as the channels I programmed are in the 142mhz region, and the scanner ACCEPTED the settings.
Now, the only question is, will the Pro-95 recognize AND follow a VHF trunk system using the workaround I listed above.
Since I don't live near any VHF trunked sites (I was test progging for a possible trip to Southern Ontario), can someone please try this? I will attach my p95 file for testing.
Thank you,
