Pro 96 - Barrie/opp

Hi guys

This may be a dumb question but I have not used a scanner in many years. I am considering purchasing a pro 96 to monitor the OPP and Barrie City Police as I live in Barrie. What I am wondering is from Barrie what OPP detachments will I be able to hear using just the pro 96? I also just wanted to confirm that I would be able to pick up the Barrie City Police with this scanner. Any info would appreciated

Yes, the Pro96 will let you listen to Barrie City.

As far as OPP goes, you will hear quite a few detachments from the Edgar tower.
