Pro-96 vs Pro164

I am comparing these 2 scanners and would like some advice as to which would be better for me. I live on Long Island and I don't know if I need the digital capabilities of the Pro-96. I am looking for a descent scanner to listen to fire/police and aviation. If the prices are about the same which one should I go for?

If you can find the Pro-96 for the same price as the Pro-164 then you've found a deal. Go for the Pro-96.
