Well I'm finally learning how this things works, no thanks to the manual!! Just kidding.. :) One question, Does it hurt (Other than draining the Batteries faster) to leave the Back Light on for extended periods of time - Like an Hour or so??

I leave my backlight on almost all the time. The LED life span is several years, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't know if GRE has changed the technology, but on my PRO-93, over the years, the backlight would dim out, and you actually don't notice it until it dies completely, or you compare it to a new one. Just something to keep in mind. :)
