PRO-97 / Palm Beach County

Hello Everyone. I couldn't tell if I should post this here or in the Scanner Forum, hope this will work. I just bought a PRO-97 Scanner. I am trying to program PBSO (Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office). I cannot figure out how to do it or what numbers I need. Can anyone help me out?

I can't help you with programming the PRO-97. I just got mine today so I'm still learning.

Yes, But I'm confused as to how to program it into the scanner. Do you have aim? Can we chat?

Sorry, I don't have any instant messaging software installed.

Besides, I don't know how to program mine. I did manage to get the St. Johns county sheriffs office programmed but I can't get it to go into the bank I want. I also didn't get the alpha tags working.

No didn't know, Thanks, I'll take a look. I'm just all confused with this trunking thing. That site with PBC Freq gives me a list of freqs and talkgroups, I'm trying to figure out how to program them.

Ok I think i got it... 4 hrs later lol. I think i was making it harder than it was.

Great news! I'm glad you got it working.

St. John's county isn't trunked. Jacksonville is but it is also encrypted so I can't listen to them.

JSO is encrypted only you have to have pro 96 or bc396t to pick up Jax F/R.
